Scanning
Live capture uses Apple's document camera and requires a physical iPhone or iPad. PaperDrawer asks for camera access only after you choose Scan. Camera scanning is not available in the iOS Simulator.
Search and document details
PaperDrawer searches titles, categories, summaries, keywords, and recognized page text inside the app. OCR and generated metadata can contain mistakes, so compare important details with the original page.
Files and iCloud
PaperDrawer writes a local Files copy and, when available, a copy in the PaperDrawer iCloud Drive container. iCloud availability depends on the Apple Account and iCloud Drive settings on the device. Deleting a library record intentionally leaves independent Files exports in place.
